I have a 2018 GT with the standard suspension and factory 19 inch wheels. Two weeks ago I noticed oil leaking under my car on the front driver's side. I put the car up on rams and found that the front driver's strut was blown and leaking oil everywhere. My local dealer replaced it under warranty at 7K miles. Yesterday, I happen to notice another oil leak in driveway and garage but this time it was under the right front area. Again, up on the rams and this strut was leaking just like the previous left side. My dealer is ordering another strut to fix this. In the old days, Tokico made all of the struts for Ford OEM and Performance. Not sure if this is still true but Q/C is bad if you have a dual failure at 7K. May be a bad batch is the problem or the 19 inch wheels adding greater impact stress, who knows. I did read that all 2018 and up Mustangs were made using the PP1 shocks and struts to improve ride quality and handling so these should be heavy duty from the factory.
