Factory exhaust tips

Anyone know of any company making exhaust tips for the factory mufflers on the 2018 with out active valve exhaust? Like maybe a carbon fiber slip on type look?
Im debating on buying the resonator delete H-pipe but would want better looking tips other then the factory tip. I think the Hpipe and factory muffler sound is good enough and loud for me

could go to a muffler shop and let them cut and weld new tips on

Tips are generally universal, so go online and find the ones you like, check size, and then just have a shop weld/clamp them for you or do it yourself.

Anyone that has the factory active exhaust 2018+, and get cut by the exhaust tips edge when washing the car. They are sharp like a knife. There needs to be a safety recall and replaced with tips with roll edges. lol

I’ve posted these pics before but it may help you - I spent a bit of time with the dremel, thinners (for the euro underseal) and then a 3M pad to apply the brushed finish :

That looks good. I'm gonna copy you and try to achieve that finish with a 3M pad. What kind of dremel attachment did you use to dull the edges of the tips?

Just the small sanding drum like this :

I used a fine grit and made sure it was pre-used (less aggressive and takes a bit longer, but more forgiving in the case of an error / slip).

It's difficult to get around the tips with the 3M pad but this method works a treat :

• Cut your 3M pad (I used the green type) into a 1" strip.
• Get an old dressing gown tie and lay it out flat.
• Place you 1" wide 3M pad on it (it will stick a bit like weak Velcro).
• Flip it all over and warp it in a U shape over the tip.
• Add tension and push / pull the gown tie ends - kind of like one of those street shoe buffer guys polishing the toe section of a shoe.

The 3M pad will be held on the inside of the gown tie up against the tip and it will give a nice even pattern, that with a bit of manoeuvring can be put all around the tips. The plastics and other tip are also protected from the 3M pad by the outer side of the gown tie.

If have have done a crap job of explaining that just let me know and I will snap a photo - that will make the method very obvious

I don’t take my tips off because they are finally perfectly centered as close as I can get em. Took me an hour of constantly re adjusting them. Because the exhaust would move around driving. But finally got it all settled in lol

but agree I nicked my finger on a edge of a tip before
