Exhausting

Question for the masses
I’m too lazy to dig and too stupid to use the search function. But my question is regarding exhaust system. I’ve already replaced the resonator with a Steeda X- pipe. I have an active system, and is there any performance gains by switching out the axle back for an aftermarket system? Kinda silly question but love the input I get from the crowd.

A slight weight savings and possibly a more free flowing exhaust system. I did the swap on mine with a Steeda axle back, paired with their x-pipe, but never put the car back on the dyno afterward. It will definitely be louder too.

The active mufflers flow pretty well IMO. Not sure if you’d get anything noticeable as far as power gains switching out the axle backs but you can get different tones depending on what set you go with. Borla S Type is one of my favorites for these cars.

Negligible power will be gained swapping mufflers, main power gains will be with headers.
