Exhaust Sound Clip Video Thread

i'm the opposite ha! I think the flow masters and magnaflows are meh sounding where as the Ford Racing just has a bite to it! We are all also judging off the internet with these loud exhausts make the mic clip etc. It's really not fair to judge any exhaust from internet...as most people aren't using nice speakers with subs or recording this stuff with multiple mics adjusted for the volume output of the exhausts

Did this today. Another FRPP sport. Sound is from the outside of the car, so no, that's not cabin noise!

Great vid, i have the same exhaust, and that sounds raspy to me unlike what it really sounds like.

Although I am using my apple earpods hooked up to my laptop here at work.

Kinda sucks that people think that it sounds like it does on youtube.

I have heard this exhaust on a 2014 and it does sound much smoother in person. This may have been my choice but I really wanted a 3" catback for my long term goals. Nice vid Madeinus!!

Oh it drones...I posted this in another thread.

I can tell you that if your worried about drone or the "whoooohhhmmmm" I guess what people refer to as drone....the MF comp is not for you. It def booms under load say cruising up a slight incline in 6th at 55mph or so. Now, you can "drive around it" and shift down a gear or just let out of the throttle and not try and maintain speed but if not...it's dronin! Lol

I love it though. Just me and my personal pref I guess.:headbonk:

Well, got my exhaust finished yesterday...so here's the run down:

- Spintech Street Race Pro 9000 Mufflers

- Pypes 4" Rolled Tips

- X-Pipe

All total I got the exhaust done for: $528.68. Sounds really good...very deep tone. May switch later to 5" Tips to deepen it even more.

The video has some start up & rev. Then normal take off & shifting around 3-3.5K RPM. Then I do u-turn a hit it at WOT.

So, my car twin, do you like the sound in person? You did the x-pipe resonator delete but left the stock mufflers, correct? Any drone at all? How much louder is it compared to stock? I really thank you for the video, but of course can't tell everything from vids. Are you going to stick with the stock mufflers or think about switching them too?

Correct, stock mufflers just the x pipe deleting the resonator. Driving on the highway just cruising you really can't tell any difference from stock. As far as volume its increased, but nothing obnoxious. It has more growl and snarl for sure. I think I'll be happy with the stock mufflers, my other car is a 302 swapped 1990 RX7 with a catted H and flowmaster super 10s...I've experienced loud and don't need that again.

got the Ford Racing by Borla Sport Exhaust on tonight!!! this is a clip of the 1st startup after the install. was super easy to install. just sucked doing it on your back!
