So I was told the BKK LT headers are 2.5" exhaust, I was wanting to do 3" because I saw a video of a mustang with that exhaust size and it was the sound I was looking for, BUT I was just now told that it is a bad idea to go that big on exhaust size was gonna run BBK LT headers O/R H pip 3" piping to dual 4.5" tips. I'm looking for a deep/loud sound with as little rasp as possible, drone doesn't really bother me.

I was thinking of something like that but with Roush Axle Back as I like those much better and have heard greater things done with them

2.5 is probably all youll need unless you plan on going over 450hp

Yeah I second 2.5, and if you are just doing exhaust and other basic mods stock 2.25 will be just fine as well.

Well I plan on doing twin turbos in the future, should I just wait till then to increase exhaust sizes?

From the vids I've been seeing the smaller diameter retains more fullness of the sound.

I will tell you right now what you will need because I have Cut, Welded, Cut Welded, and 2400.00 later I have a good sound, I started with Roush axle backs, = good, then I went roush axle backs with gt SVE x pipe = good, Got the long tubes with high flow cats = RASP so bad it was embarrassing to drive and I hated it, Then I put MBRP resonators on each side after the x pipe and now it is Perfect.

It's 4 valve's per cylinder. 3 inch won't hurt it much at all especially if you keep the cats. When you do go FI you won't have to redo the exhaust.

On top of that the 3.7 V6 is a even firing engine meaning cylinder scavenging in the exhaust isn’t a big deal.
