Exhaust question

Why should I waste my time finding you the link, when you should be doing that in the first place. The forum isn't just for spoon feeding the lazy.

But I like to be spoon fed!

No power but the weight savings are pretty nice, the stock mufflers are super heavy. Oh and any exhaust you put on sounds super badass, what more do you want?

To answer your question O-H-5-0 (not trying to be a smart ass) thats what i was getting from a couple of people i asked. But the more i ask the question, I get different answers. Some people tell me they've seen gains. That why I'm sharing the links above to show you

Dont put too much stock in any companies dyno. Look at customer number ans track times. Dyno numbers can be easily manipulated to help sell a product.....it got you wanting to buy it.....

I did a before and after dyno posted in the sw thread,3 in catback mag comp.3HP and 4 tq,those were real numbers no manipulation.I thought the 15,s would get more hp out of a catback too but i was wrong!!!!!.

most of the power is going to come from loosing the cats. I have stainless works longtubes and off road lead pipes sitting in my garage waiting to go on. Can not wait to throw them on and let this thing really breathe. Got a great deal on them from team beefcake racing!!!

The only people who claim that catbacks add power are the ones selling the catbacks! Can't be trusted.

But even with no real power gain, saving weight is a good thing and who can resist the great V8 sound coming out of some of these set-ups! I swear half the joy of driving a Mustang is just hearing it.
