I wonder if that is the nature of pc speakers, not very good at bass frequencies so all exhaust vids are going to sound a bit less deep than real life?
I listened to that video with both very nice headphones and very nice speakers, it sounds meh either way. Better mics needed. Not all PC speakers are terrible... (unless you're talking internal ones in a laptop or something).

I can probably get an in car video of the sound some kind of way. I don't have any fancy go pro cams or anything yet, but I'll try.

But you are right, the cat-back sounds much better in person than in the Gibson posted videos. Much deeper. It doesn't sound as raspy as their videos seem to sound.
Hey Turrizm,

Now that you've had the Gibson installed for a little while, what do you think about the overall sound? Idle, WOT, highway cruising speed.
Not loud enough, too loud, just right?
Can you talk on the bluetooth phone, while at highway speeds?
I don't talk on the phone very often, but sometimes have to take a call while on the highway.

Had a great tone to it, but it was too loud for my taste.
Loud as in making your head want to pop when the windows are up because of drone or just too loud with the windows down?

Got some more random exhaust questions.

Do large diameter loud-exhaust drone more than relatively small diameter loud-exhaust? Example: 2 1/2" vs 3"

Does thick wall piping drone more than thin wall?

If thin wall drones less. What is the best material for thin wall piping?

cold start is really where its loud but once you start driving around at cruising speed no its not that bad. But if there were 3 levels of exhaust, low, medium, high, this would be a high volume exhaust.
