Instead of blowing 1k+ on an exhaust can i just buy the muffler and have everything welded? I dont see anything from anyone that justifies why a bunch of pipes would be worth $1000?? I just want to achive a more aggressive note when i stomp the throttle... oh if it crackled and popped too that'd be perfect

You can do anything you want to it, lol. Some people are just replacing the mufflers/resonator, some are replacing them and having custom piping made from an exhaust shop, and then some are just ordering the kits. If you just want mufflers, order the mufflers that you want in 2.25" inlet and have at it.

on the very first page of the 2.3 forums there are two threads already with people with resonator and mufflers deleted, or a dp and the mufflers deleted.
