Euro tail lights?

Its a shame we wont get the iconic sequential lights. But hey, I'm just glad the wheel is on the right. As for them being clear I could always just throw red tint over them.

That's the plan, no amber, everything red...Keeps the american feeling. Love it on my '66

Actually he means is that it'll be flashing a red indicator on a red break light. You wont be able to see the actual turn signal.

Everything may be red when you have the lights on BUT when you brake you will get the standard 2 bars solid still because the indicator bar your swapped out for a red bulb will still not come on and will only come on when you put the indicator on, which will only blink. Therefore just swapping out the amber bulb for a red bulb will not work.

There is no bulb, there is advanced electronic inside with lot of high power 1w led in each section and they itself are expensive and not easy to change. So this is not really DIY job for everyone.

I still don't really get why every other country (I don't mean EVERY, but you get the point) has to have clear tail lights. The international law decreed by the united nations is that the indicator light of a car simply needs to flash amber, it doesn't matter what the casing of the tail lights are, it just matters that it flashes amber. Why can't clear tail lights just be an option for the people who actually like them on their car?

Is I remember years ago i bought Hella tail lights for my VW, they were signed E signs and were all countries EU legal and they were GREEN flashing amber. So i don't know if there is any country that says they must be special color.
I have send my many other modifications to UK, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Finland, Norway and maybe some others, most of them were useing amber in red lamp and no one had problems to make registration.

In BE an official document clearly says : amber or red are allowed in the tail light as turning indicator. (2 identical lights per side as well but not 3 !!)

It's so easy on old mustangs were you don't need to look at anything in this respect and were you don't need the yearly technical approvals...

The whole idea stops if it's indeed electronic and LED on the 2015....:amen:

Yes, the indicator lights are not allowed across all 3 tail lights, it is another thing declared by the UN. They are only allowed to be 1 indicator light on the back of the car!

Is there any way to get the clear tail light housing and have them run red and sequential just like u.s.? I like the clear lenses but I want it to work just like my oem lights now.

Yes, no problem. Needs additional module for that.

We started doing euro lights, full sequential yellow. They will be lot letter that crappy EU white lights.

This week shipping first pair to UK.
