And that, Ford, is how you can have red tails that flash amber :headbang::clap2::clap2::headbang:

Euro tail lights has already this behaviour... red when lit, and amber when turning.
But with red tail lights it's not possible, it should have clear lens to change colour. In US Ford can use red lens because it's legal to indicate turning.

EDIT: is this in the video with red lens?? I thought red is only when lit and has clear lens

It's clear in this video it IS possible. Look at the right most red lens.....when the indicator is turned on, it shows AMBER through a RED lens :headbang:

A couple...

In Belgium :
- RED or orange colors in the back : allowed (Just swapping orange to red might already be an interesting differentiator :headbang:)
- frequency should be between 60 & 120 periods per minute
- 2 lights allowed (not 3) and the frequency should be identical

Problems :
- Mustang has 3 lights instead of 2
- frequency is not identical for each light (discussable if the number of periods is identical within a minute per light)

Let's see what tuners come up with...

I think no matter what coulour is glass, may be even purple, green or... but must flash amber.
There are different countries in EU, but same rules nearly everywhere. In Poland no problem with sequential, in DE sometimes, in Italy no, in Spain sometimes etc.
It just depends of local TUV. Police never asking for legality or I had not hear about.

And because of so many countries have to be satisfied, sequential switch off cures all the problem. Then You have only one indicator and You can pass TUV/Registration.

TBH I like what Ford have already done with the clear tail lights and how it swaps between red and amber for the turn signal
video of how they work https://drive.google.com/folderview?...mc&usp=sharing (scroll down to the 2nd to last video 8512)

I have a friend in the UK that has setup his own company to convert US lights. Here's his conversion on a Camaro.....once again, amber turn signals flashing through a red tail lamp :)

:-O didn't know that could lights up amber through red lens!
So could we install US red tail lights and use it legally with amber turn signals.

Here in Italy sequential turn lights is ok, it's the RED turning lights that won't be allowed :)

Modification of eu lights will be more complicated since there is another wiring harness and bcm module. But i already have modules for that. I made them to make sequential in 2005. They will work here.
