ETIS and Window Sticker Process

I asked Ford Service about build date and window sticker and received response below:

"Your Mustang is tentatively scheduled to build 12/21. Our window sticker link (http://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=-----------------) has been officially discontinued; it may still work for some vehicles. It doesn't normally show though until the vehicle is in production."

You can try that link above and replace the dashes with your VIN and see if it works, but apparently it doesn't have to anymore :-(

The flip side is my car is just over a week from being built so the real sticker isn't too far away now... happy days :-)

That's the link I've been using and it is an embedded link to the Ford Service link displaying a PDF image of the same page. :(

I'll keep checking because what else can you do at this stage - even word from Ford saying don't bother doesn't discourage someone waiting for a car this long :headbonk:

It will either come up with sticker not available try back later or the sticker will pop up. Make sure you dont have adblock when accessing that page ive found it can play up when its on.

Also using google chrome.

Also if you check cotus.ford it will pop up as in production meaning a window sticker is available.

The window sticker website only updates on a Saturday according to the OP, but if it's in production on cotus then there will be a surprise for you on sat.

Probably the same as mine whichever one at the end of Jan. I'll doubt it will make the boat that departs on the 10th

So my window sticker came through overnight with blend date 22/12 so the research maniacs website link is working just fine.

Built: 18/11/2016
Email regarding shipping: 08/12/2016

I know that Thanksgiving, and Christmas may have delayed things.
WWL is still showing that horrid 'no record found'

Does anyone else have a pony on the same build cycle?

Cotus has updated to saying "in transit". Build was 17/1/17. Got my fingers and toes crossed that it makes it to the docks in time for boat leaving 27/1/17 otherwise hoping for the Figaro on 04/02/17.

Hi Sharkes,
My build was 13/1/17 and Ford on Facebook and the dealer have both told me expected delivery (in country?) is 18th March. As I'm in "the gong" I would say both of our vehicles would be on the ship leaving about the 18th Feb. last time I looked at the ship time table there was one arriving at port kembla about the 21st March. Don't know how they came up with the 18th.
