I feel like the delivery may even be an anticlimax for me ( with the waiting and all of the discussions on exhausts, and other mods ).

I hope it isn't.

It's all getting real now, and when they're on the ship it will very real !!

I hear ya mate....all good Im ok waiting, just see so many cars going ahead of mine and cars being delivered well after I ordered....I dont mind waiting the required time but its frustrating when yours seems slower than everyone elses :(

I borrowed a demo from my dealer today to test how much lowering the GT we get here in Oz can take to get up and down our driveway without problems.

I've wanted to use Steeda Progressives to get an inch lower, and even though our driveway rises 4 ft in 6 metres we're good to go :clap2:

I have about 3 inches to spare under the front splitter.

Now we both just need to get on that next vessel dont we Daz ?

Aren't you glad you signed up to the forum to get all the tracking info that you wouldn't have any clue about if you didn't join?

Just think - you could be blissfully unaware of any of this, just knowing that your car would be on its way sometime in future.

Yeah he's a good bloke ( the salesman ), a car guy too ( he's just ordered an RS ). He knew we had a fairly steep driveway so it was a no brainier.

I send him emails about all the mods I have in mind, he tells me what he thinks, it's a good customer / salesman relationship. I've also asked him also for some prices on installing exhausts I may source too.

I'd rather get it all done at predelivery to be honest.

I'll check WWL later in the week to see if the car has been scanned into the terminal - it should happen soon as CN told me it has been unloaded from the rail car.

Mine did have OTT Stripes which I believe is another area it gos too so yeah I know there is a bit of a delay but seriously built 25th July and still a no show is dragging on a bit....Unless it accidently went for a Ford racing supercharger :clap2: if not its dragging on a bit

They would need to give me a Ford Racing Supercharger to keep me happy at the moment

Yep it's crazy! I don't, to a point really care that much about production order, but leaving some cars waiting to be shipped while other cars built weeks later get on a boat is really rude in my book. akin to being ignored at the shop counter!!

That's how I feel.....Makes me feel like my car has an issue....like Nemo with his little gimpy Finn, my car is equal, load that fukker on a ship...PLEASE..

You''re right to a point. In my immediate family we have bought many euro cars that were ordered here and only a couple picked up in europe, the others were delivered in a timely manner. A simple call to the dealer accurately informed us of the production and or delivery status! I'm talking delivery within days of a date set four or five months out, back as far as the sixties!!:shrug:
Thinking about it the above applies to Jap cars on special order as well. In fact freinds and family in the US seem to be able to get better service on their orders from Ford!!
