Just wondering, when did you place your order and what estimated delivery time were you given?
I ordered 28/5/15 and am expecting it 6/8/15
17/05/15 and they had no idea of the delivery time. As mine was built 17/05/16 I'm hoping it will be on Fedora 6th June but that may be too hopeful. Prob the next ship so a delivery end of July?

Sorry but we all have Sync3, bonnet vents etc. but if your car was built before 02/06/16, Sync2 only.

Thank you!

Window sticker has this accross the top "20160527"

Which can i assume means it was built today?? :headbang:

That is the 'scheduled' build date. I think the actual build date is updated in cotus/etis well after the event.

But hey good news.

I've worked out most of the small (un-boldled) numbers on my window sticker, but still trying to figure out the bold numbers. I'm guessing they must be important numbers if they are bold.

I know FLR stands for Flat Rock, but that's about it.

Hi

Found a few bits on-line:
http://themustangsource.com/forums/f726/window-sticker-vin-info-493796/#&gid=1&pid=1

mostly Window sticker stuff is internal but of interest is :

FLR-000410 99 9-NORMAL,NX 100410,GE231 942 20160531 5421
NX = Export
20160531 = Blend Date (or scheduled build date)

A good description of the VIN can be found at
http://mustangattitude.com/mustang/2016vinmatrix.shtml

so 1FA = Ford
6 = Seat Belts and front/side air bags
P8? = 'P8A' Coupe, 'P8C' Coupe GT, 'P8E' Convertible, 'P8F' Convertible GT, 'P8T' Coupe Eco, 'P8U' Convert Eco
X = 'F' 5.0L, 'H' Eco
# = checksum for data integrity
G = 2016 (2010 = 'A', etc)
5 = Flat Rock
000000 = sequential unit number

So I am 1FA 6 P8C F 2 G 5 000000 in Orange!

This is what ford service in FB told me about my vert GT mustang
This was on 20/5/2016
Hi , we can see that your Mustang has now finished in production (Start production) 16/5/2016). It is now waiting to be moved by rail down to the docks in Baltimore. It will remain at the docks for about 4 weeks while it enters quarantine, is treated with anti-corrosive, is detailed and packaged ready for the journey and finally has the paperwork approved so able to board a vessel. It isn’t until late in its stay that at the dock that a vessel is assigned to your Mustang. Hope this helps. ETA to your dealer 30 July 2016 FordService^

I'm hoping my GT vert gets on the boat 16th June 2016 what do you think? I could be being to optimistic?

I think you have a good chance, it depends on how many others will go on the boat too. But it seems a good indication to go by what other dates have been given to those who already have their car. Most people have said it goes on the boat about a month after it is built.

Mine was built on the 25th of may, but the dealer said I wont get it until Mid Sept, which is a lot longer than I expected. I was expecting mid Aug. I think it still can happen ...

I think your right all depends If cars backlogging to get on ships. I guess I'll just have to wait for more information to come forthcoming you can't really second guess. I guess the advantage getting a bit later I'll be closer to
Spring for the vert.

This is our 3rd car was supposed to be June build. Has been pushed to July.
Dealer said October delivery. Ford AU FB said:
Hi Kaps, we have an update on your Mustang. We now have a scheduled build date for the week commencing 10th of July. Until your VIN is supplied there is always a possibility of movement with your build date, and with the squeeze on RHD V8s your order has been pushed out by a few business days. We expect that your VIN will be assigned late June. Luckily, we can settle the debate as to whether you'll have a SYNC2 or SYNC3 Mustang, as you will definitely have SYNC3 now.
