Can anyone explain what it means on the ETIS there is a big red box on the left hand side...

Outstanding Field Service Actions
ACCESS TO GOASIS
...
Nothing like that on ours either...just the nice green section....

Just checked my ETIS and it also has that as an outstanding action - but it has definitely only appeared since I took delivery.

A quick Google seems to indicate that GOASIS is some sort of web portal for Ford employees. I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
Maybe GOASIS means "Go as is" ?

Dunno, haha.

Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time posting. My car was built yesterday (well as far as I know it was, I'm going off the window sticker), a DIB manual GT.

Anyhow, ford Australia (via facebook) have said I should expect the car in September, my dealer called recently and said to expect it in late July.

So my question is, how long have the recently built cars been taking to get to Australia once they have been built?

Welcome envyyyne, your dealer's prediction is about right. From reading here and my experience, 90 days is about right. Add another 1-3 weeks for customs, pre-delivery. Enjoy the forum.

If 90 days is correct, and I am sure it is, that will give you a September delivery.

Mine was built 24 Feb, and delivery expected this week, which would put it right on 3 months.
Car Built - arrive at docks a week or 2 later - 3-4weeks to be loaded on a boat - 30 days shipping - about a week from dock to dealer - about a week for dealer to do their thing - delivery.

Hi MustangMark, not long to go now for you mate! I noticed you were on the Tijuca and your car would've been discharged at Port Kembla on 12th May like me. FYI my Stang was actually delivered to City Ford Zetland on Tue 17th May And they were able to turn it around very quickly and have it ready to be picked up by me on Thur 19th May.

If you haven't already it might pay to check if your Stang has been delivered to your dealership (the 2wglobal track & trace website was very quick to update the delivery date to my dealer on 17th May). If it is there then I would be asking my dealer to fast-track the prep for you (they certainly don't need 7 days to do their bit, my dealer told me he could've had it prepped in 1 day if I'd had my finance ready sooner!).

I know you've waited a long time already, but just thought these tips might help expedite this last leg for you, you're gonna absolutely love it when it arrives!! ::thumbsup:

Cheers,

JJ

Has your car been built yet? I remember we had a similar time frame
Yes 17/5 ETIS all good etc. I think we might be on the same ship...Prob Facebook the only way to get more info in about 2 weeks?

Good progress though - at least I dont have to look at ETIS any more?
