ETIS and Window Sticker Process

My window sticker just appeared! Yay! still no update to the schedule build date in ETIS. But guessing because I have my window sticker, it should be getting built in the next week? That was the estimate Ford Aus FB gave me on Friday as well.

At the top of the Window Sticker there is a "Blend" number... remove the 1 and then read the numbers in YYYYMMDD format and you should have your build date

Oh nice! Thanks! 20160408. So this Friday US time my car should get built! Finally feels like its coming! 3 months from then puts it at 8th of July for delivery.

how many days out from their boat departing?

The rest of my ETIS info appeared today. All good. Now for the wait for it to get onto the ship.

In regards to the Tijuca, all the bookings seemed to be up by the 3rd April. Since she's due in Baltimore on the 9th April, that would put it at 7 days lead time. Davo would be the best one to answer though as he posts the weekly Mustang migration to Oz updates.

UPDATE: 24 more Mustangs were added yesterday to Tijuca which is still due on the 9th April, so a lead time of only 5 days.

I was advised by Ford Service that my car is at Port but no other details known. I checked the cargo id but it doesn't come up yet so waiting for a ship to be identified. Not sure whether i can find anything else out at this time.

That was pretty quick to arrive at port, Mark. Hopefully, it is processed faster to get a ship allocated too. Good luck

ETIS has updated with my cars full info now after it was built on the 8th of April. So now I message Deysha and ask when it will be moving to the port and which ship I will be on?

Whenever I ask even more basic questions than that, they never seem to have a clue!
Did you ring the standard Ford Australia number of 133673? If so, you must have been put onto someone way more capable than the people there that I have talked to.

Ford Australia Facebook message. They have always been pretty helpful. Just provide them with your vin and they will give you the latest update on your car.
