ETIS and Window Sticker Process

Ford Australia has also told me my car is 'in transit' between the factory and the docks.

Do I interpret this as 'its sitting in a carpark'

Or

'Its on a train to baltimore' ?

Also been told late May delivery, which seems like a tight schedule compared to previous deliveries. :shrug:

I know, it's confusing at best!

I don't get all that excited by Ford Australia's 'estimates' but I believe Meagan is from Ford Service US, I can only assume she did not realise mine was Aus bound and figured it was for local markets. I can't see how the car could be built on 22/03 and delivered half way around the world 3 weeks later. The boat takes 6 weeks!

Starting to feel everyone elses frustrations- makes it very hard to plan around/for!

The wait really doesn't bother me, so long as the information I get is accurate!

regardless, I just love reading the posts and pics from those who already have theirs and genuinely feel their excitement.

Just adding my car was due for build on 21/03, ETIS update now shows built on 22/03!
It seems I have a Mustang!

I feel like handing out cigars!

I don't smoke, but just to share your happiness, I will take one thanks.
My car's build date being 23-03-2016 and booked through the dealer in GC. I am hoping our cars will be on same boat.

I believe they will be on Tijuca or Tamerlane. The backlog for winter must have been cleared by now and I also hope Ford has improved in last few months organizing the things better. I think I am too optimistic ? :headbonk:

Haha ! Probably!

I think my car will have to be on Tijuca as well, in order to arrive at my latest delivery date quoted.... I just think it would be unlikely given the timeframe previous cars have had for shipping/delivery.

It would require minimal downtime waiting in carparks at any stage for that to happen, which i have learned isnt wise to expect :/

I hope they prove me wrong though! Would be very happy if they are right!

Hmm, information from dealer said I have a 6th of April blend date but no window sticker yet... Only just got a VIN too - either the timelines have shortened a bit or the dealer isn't right.

Oh well, at least I have a VIN

I think both of ours will be on the same boat. Mine was done on the 18th of March. So it will be interesting to see what happens.

Not sure which box I need to be putting into 2WG Track and Trace -- Booking Number, Bill of Lading, etc - so I've been trying each one - one by one.

Anyone able to please tell me? Getting "No records found" 4 times every time I want to check is killing my soul!

Try the Cargo ID with your VIN number..

starting to panic a little . . . . .I ordered a manual transmission as per my contract, triple checked it. I entered my VIN in ETIS and it says automatic transmission, has anyone else encountered this? I dont have a blend date yet and there is only basic info, but surely this cant be a fuck up?
