ETIS and Window Sticker Process

Contacted my dealer, they gave me the wrong NSC number. Good news is i was tracking a car that is not due to get built until mid aprill, mine has already been built!!! woo hoo

Just checked my VIN number on the ford lookup. I've ordered a ruby red automatic mustang. Is this information correct:

Primary Features
Build Date: 30.11.0002
Vehicle Line: Mustang
Engine: MOD 5.0L-4V DOHC SEFI NA
Transmission: 6 Speed Automatic Trans (6R80)

No sign of the colour there like is mentioned in the process post on the first page. Does have the place holder date and automatic transmission though. Nothing on the window sticker page yet.

Mine looks exactly the same as yours david - albeit I've ordered a magnetic convertible, and the picture is of a red fastback. I hope the picture is not indicative of the body type!

Don't worry, it's not that specific yet - I'm hoping mine will be updated this Friday (and yours probably will too), my Convertible shows the red fastback too

These details, won't be updated, until after the Build has been completed.
Ist update after the windows sticker is released (which is released approx. 6 days before the actual build date, earliest) might be the build date, which will change to the actual build date.
Then approx. 4 days after the build date ETIS will be updated with the detailed specifications of the car. The colour of the car in picture stays RED.

Thanks that is very reassuring. I had varying reports of build date from December, then march then April and then more recently March again! So I lost interest a bit along the way like many no doubt.
No window sticker yet and the place holder build date, but starting to get excited

Just received my VIN number, finally, after putting down pre order in May last year. I was informed by my dealer a few weeks ago that I have a build date of 04/04/16 (without a VIN so not sure how).

Ford Facebook AU have just given me my VIN with a scheduled build weeks of the 23/05!! Slightly disappointed! Although I've come to accept that it's all part of it.

Hmm, the 4/4 date must be a placeholder/indicative date given out - I got the same a few weeks back. I've got a VIN now, but still not in ETIS with a blend date - hoping it will be updated some time today.

BTW: I ordered in May last year too, so we're about at the same point.

Got my VIN today fellas, scheduled for a "late April" build according to ford aus FB. Getting to the pointy end of the journey. Ordered June 27 for those wondering

Supposedly next week for my build according to ford Aus FB! Just asked now. Checked my window sticker again and it still hasn't been produced. So will wait and see.
