My car was built a week prior. Not expecting it to be on a ship till at least mid to late January.

Talisman or Tonsberg. Though wouldn't be surprised if it took longer. Given the randomness of Baltimore ETA to ship ETA.

At Q Ford Springwood, last cut off date for the 1st batch in March 2015

Be thankful, my convertible GT from Q Ford in batch one not scheduled for build until Feb 16 and arrival May 16. Not happy is the understatement of the decade.

How do I find out if my car is booked onto a ship? As I received an email on Friday stating that my car has been built (blend date 10/12/15).

Check earlier threads but use your VIN as the cargoid on the WW track and trace feature at www.2wglobal.com

With regards to the window sticker, has anyone managed to read what is in the grayed out areas on the lower left of the page. I am sure I read somewhere, I think in the Euro section some months ago, that there is info in those fields. There is a number of layers to this pdf and supposedly a pdf add-on reveals them....cant quite remember what the info was....

Bob, I did it for my windows sticker a few months ago - I found the details but it wasnt interesting or useful.
I think it was a internal Ford assembly line code.

There are posts on this forum that provide more information on how to reveal the code.

So Deysha finally got back to me. Build date was 23/11/2015 but it is still at the plant and waiting to goto upfitters.

So probably another month at plant and upfitters, then add what another month before it gets to baltimore then another 40 days travel then another two weeks sitting at Aussie docks then a few days sitting at dealership.

April delivery sound about right?

Mine was built on Friday and Deysha says it's on a rail car to the port today. Why would mine take a couple of days but yours take a month? The whole thing is crazy.

Yeah that sounds strange. Only thing I can think of doobynuts is that the November built cars had the upfitter stage and December ones do not.

Because my 3/12 build is at Baltimore since 15/12.

doobynuts' car has to go to the upfitters for whatever reason.

I believe that all of the first couple of Oz boatloads of cars went to the upfitters, but it no longer appears to be a mandatory part of the process.

That slows things down considerably.

Ya makes sense thanks Drewbo. I'm sort of glad I won't be getting mine anytime soon - girlfriend broke both her wrists a few days ago so I'm housebound for the next 4-6 weeks - wouldn't be able to drive it anyway
