ETIS and Window Sticker Process

The window sticker says 2017 build. Not worried either way but it would be a shame to miss out on an upgrade by a day or two.

Best way to tell if you have SYNC 3 -
Check your VIN no.
If your 10th character is G - it means that it is a 2016 build & will have SYNC 2
If it is H - it means that your build is 2017 & will have SYNC 3

..So got a call from my dealer today..though he was going to tell me what i'd already been able to research with everyone's help in this thread..( a late August Delivery)


But No!

He called to say there was a cancelled order and he has a Mustang Magnetic GT hardtop (my order) in country that i can have in the next week or so!

WOO WOO!

Yeah I really don't get why so many people are so pent up about Sync 2 V Sync 3. I have used Sync 2 and liked it (also in USA Mustang). I have also used apple play in other cars and found it very underwhelming.

Happy for those that seem to love the idea of Sync 3 though.. enjoy!

My originally assigned car was built in the last few days of May so had Sync 2 in
it anyways

To have a build date the VIN must have been allocated. Try the Ford Service FB team. They gave me mine. I quoted my NSC number and they gave me the VIN. With the VIN you can check ETIS and window sticker.

Looks pretty easy to add and remove, and reverse camera can work too.

ETIS has updated with my build date (20/6/16) but there no 'further details' list.
