I am planning on running breathers on both valve covers. Any issues with that?
Shouldn’t be an issue at all. I was considering the same but ended up going with the UPR dual vented catch-can which I viewed as a dual breather catch can option.

One thing to note if you’re doing a fuel system, be mindful of where you mount your fuel regulator. I put my fuel regulator on the drivers side and effectively removed the ability to mount the catch can on the drivers side. Not a terrible issue but it took me a little while to find a suitable mounting location for the catch can on the passenger side. Photo below for reference.

Was the issue that there was no method to vent pressure on the passenger side? Just trying to understand because I believe the passenger side pcv hook up has a check valve from the factory.
I'm not sure TBH. Was a phone conversation.

I’m a complete newb but this is what my setup looks like right now, just wanted to confirm that the dual catch cans replace those 2 cone filters on both sides right?

That’s correct. Those filters will come off and the upr lines will clip right on the factory locations and route to the can/filter.

Thank you sir, you’ve been a huge help! I’m buying that setup as we speak!!

The jlt 3.0 isn't designed for boosted cars. I have no ides why but I left might on after boost and it collected no oil anymore. I switched it to the drivers side and still nothing so I pulled it off.

Ehhh. My 3.0 is perfect for boost in my application. It does the job as intended. :).

Really??? Mine wasn't collecting any oil on either side after boost. Everyone on here at the time told me it's no good for boosted cars so i pulled it off after being dry for 10k miles. For reference I was getting about .5-1 oz before that.

My UPR catch can comes with the mount that puts it next to the radiator behind the pass headlight. It is under the radiator top cover so you really don't see it. I like it.

As long as it’s open to the cam covers and pulling vacuum, it’s going to do its job. I collect 1-2oz every 1000 miles. I also have over double the stock ring gap too though. Many stock ring gap setups hardly collect much in the catch cans. Hardly anything on N/A applications.

Did a little weight reduction today 🤣! It ain’t the prettiest thing ever but if it frees up the missing hp I’ll take it. I will also be keeping an eye on iat’s hoping that they don’t go up to much.

I'd definitely recommend running a filter on the street just from my experience over the last 20 years. I've seen many ruined blowers way too often running guards.

I appreciate the advice! What’s ruining them? Debris making it through the guard or the blower sucking in the guard?
