As a non-R owner, the most fascinating aspect of R is definitely the Carbon Wheel for me. After doing some researches(mostly google:doh:) I accidentally(that is what I have told to my girlfriend) put down the deposit.
Wheels will be manufactured late May and shipped to me early June. Once I got the rim, will post a new thread for review.

Good Luck to myself when my girlfriend found out how much it costs:cheers:

did you go same specs as the R rims? width/depth/diameter?

I wonder how wide you can go front and back, would be nice to know if you can do 335 maybe even 345 rear, 305 front. Thats a lotta grip!

Dude, $10,000 for wheels? Wouldnt you have been better selling your car for 55k, put that 10k on top and maybe add another 5-6k and get an R? Plus you would be able to amortize the cost over 6-7 years vs paying $10,000 cash now for wheels.

Just saying:)

Jesus Christ... are you feeling ok!?!?!? A well thought out post suggesting a reasonable solution!!

You didn't even ask a gajillion questions or over-analyze the crap out of it, almost like you found your common sense :D

Pulling your leg man, but I happen to agree with your suggestion. Though it might be hard to find an R even at the prices you suggest, even with 18's being made. The prices on them are still very high, and I don't see them coming down and going regularly for just 4-6K over any time soon.

Yes it is the same setup as the R rims, as for customization wise as they just launched their new manufacturer line, they only have certain setups available

I believe mostly because I have already put on new header and x pipe. although I have talked with some member on the forum for potential R allocations with reasonable ADM but none of them are located around my area and I don't want trouble myself with all the fuss for out state trade in.

OK, but what if your girlfriend is so pissed she is going to tell your wife? That can be problematic and expensive.
