ERUPTION GREEN S550 MUSTANG Thread

way back in the mid 70's I lost interest in the gold metal flake on my mustang and had it totally repainted after I was hit in the rear my an inattentive driver , the color was from a 1960's vintage Lincoln Continental that color was spot on the same to this "new" eruption green, it was a stunner back then, a one of a kind, still miss that car.

Fresh off the transport and almost in my hands...pictures really don't do justice with this color. I really dig the big contrast between nice dark green in the shade and the pop of the yellow flakes in the sun.

I just wish I initially ordered my '22 in this color and just waited the extra 3-5 months. Hind sight is always 20/20...

Looks good, even better than the Bronco. Ranger and Mustang have more and better body lines to show off the awesome color, high and low lights you get with EG!

Went for a drive up CA Hwy1 from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay last Sunday, during the break in the rain.

What a great stretch of road!!! Car looks great too! We were out there a few years ago and rented an ecoboost vert but that has nothing on the v8!

I still enjoy washing the cars but not like I used to, as 32 turned to 52 my body just doesn’t enjoy it anymore. All my fault. Anyway Eruption Green just looks so classy and some Dream Maker just brings out the gloss so well. Got the Rokblokz on the front, still have the rears to do but debating Steeda Jacking Rails and want to do that at the same time since the rear wheels got come off for the Rokblokz.

How do you find Dream Maker?

I wanted to love Dream Maker but struggle with streaking for some reason, that's despite attempting different application methods. It's funny how many complained about Bead Maker in that way, but I have not had issues with Bead Maker, or Paint Gloss for that matter.

Thanks! I saw it in maybe one of your posts but def in the Show and Shine Thread. I use two Adams Borderless Gray Microfiber towels. I spray it on one towel and spread on a panel. It is “sticky” but after I let it set about 20 seconds it’s a lot easier to wipe down with the 2nd dryer towel.

I picked up a 2023 EG GT and have been getting nonstop comments about how good this color is. Have actually had many people mistake this for a Shelby. I had a 2016 Guard Green Metallic and never got any kind of attention as I do now, and that used to be considered a cool color. Maybe that was because it was a V6 LOL!

I am super confused. Didn’t you have a Black M1, then a Silver M6 and an EG GT?

Beautiful. Those wheels look great on EG, I decided against them but seeing them on EG makes it harder now.

I doubt ur problem is anywhere near as bad as mine though! Retirement in the horizon has tapered my disease. lol
