I decided to go ahead and take the plunge after months of saving and deliberating on what system, and components I should get. Ended up working with Terry at beefcake and getting hooked up with a procharger HO kit D1 and intercooler upgrade and the race valve. Also got some half shafts while I was at it and I cannot freaking wait to put it all on the car!!! :headbang: I've had a boosted B16 civic but something tells me this is going to be on a whole nother lever! ;)

Sounds great! Any reason on why you went with the D1SC? I know it's a nice blower, just curious what pushed it past some of the others for you.

Thanks and congrats!

Thank you, yes I do plan on keeping the 3:73 and see how I like them or hate them and consider options from there. My initial goal is to be hitting in the low to mid 600whp range but I have long term plans to have this car near or above the 800whp mark a few years from now once its not so much of a DD anymore. From the info I gathered the D1 would be more efficient at that level and less of a "restriction" once I am ready.

I plan to go FI soon myself. How do the D1SC and JT Trim stack up against each other?

i would say the jt is a little stronger,

d1 and 2200 will be very similar in comparison

jt will take it a little further,

you can make over 800 no problem with a d1

I decided to swap 3.73's for 3.31's in my mt82 forced induction setup. I have the Roush TVS though. I haven't made any 1/4 mile passes since the gear swap but it seems to be an improvement and i know it will keep me out of 5th in the 1/4 mile. Which is great! I had alot of fun on the 3.73's as well. Just figured i would try out the 3.31's.. Ill be posting time slips and reviews on the setup soon!

I look forward to seeing how the gear swap works out for you. I don't intend to go more than one or two times a year to the drag strip. I have a feeling I will want the 3.31's eventually after a clutch and a few other upgrades. The car will see mostly spirited drives and the occasional freeway fun with my buddies. I am finding it hard to believe that I'm going to have a 600whp+ S550 and will still probably be the slow one in the group.... My friends have "too much bloody money" :headbonk: hahaha

After some weeks of waiting. A pain in the ass spark plug. Some questionable figment of the red race valve and some strenuous moments splicing the BAP wires in (wiring scares me, it just does) this bad boy is in! Just waiting for Lund to work their magic so I can start hitting boost! I'm a happy guy. Now the DSS half shafts that UPS lost need to find their way to me and then we're all good! :)
