I'll echo the Track Attack comments. When you see what these cars are put through, especially by the instructors, you won't be concerned any more.

agreed, those guys hold nothing back.... even with the Boss Track Attack Program, last I heard there were no engine failures or transmission failures, and one search of "MT-82 Transmission" will lead to hundreds of forum posts of complaints of how crappy of a transmission it is.

I just drove a tech pack from Virginia to Michigan and back. Round trip, about 2000 miles, flawless drive with no hiccups, well, except for Sync 3 acting up one time. Checked oil several times going up and coming back. Stayed on the mark, halfway, on dip stick. Oil temps hovered around 200-220, depending on how spirited driving I was doing, and oil pressure rock solid at 70-75.

I changed the oil before the road trip. The only thing I really noticed was that my air filter is dirty, otherwise, that is it. A fun drive for sure. A more detailed write up to come.

Buy the damn car!

To echo on the track attack point, I was in the first class. The car had about 40 miles on it and we were told to drive em like we stole them. And we did. And every other class has since ours. These things take a major whooping and ask for more.

Buy the damn car!
