Engine install costs

Hey guys! I like to plan ahead and late night thoughts have me thinking... how much would you expect to spend for a reputable shop to pull old engine and install new engine for a 2018+ Mustang GT.

Depends on the shop ... most will likely charge 20hrs to R&R an engine .. So,, 2g's more or less.

Are we talking long block or short block?
Shortblock $2500
Longblock $1000-$1400

It would most likely be short block. I am thinking how much money I should set aside if the engine goes. I plan on keeping it at a “safe” boost level but understand you pay to play.
