Being lazy by not reading most follow up posts and just responding to initial post.. install is pretty straight forward with whippleās instructions. Just take your time and read (not skim) instructions a few times before you start tearing into it. And match up pics they show to what they are...
That is one of the nicest s550's I have seen and super fair price.... Would be hesitant with the power through stock engine but mods are tasteful and well thought out
How frequently are you switching settings? you can have it set to whatever default you want and have it programmed for "quiet starts" during times of day
dang, huge difference in weather between N and S Ohio.. Im in Cleveland with windchill hovering around 0 and 2-3 inches of snow lying around with streets colored a pretty salt-coated white color
Didnāt realize they did away with pp2 for ā21. The tremec 3160 is not superior to the mt82 when adding power. Itās all preference but my point is you can have the same features (w/ different trans) for much cheaper if you start with GT.
Iām comparing Mach 1 vs GT with magnaride. There is not enough difference to charge the extra price tag of a M1. If a Mach 1 is dream car go with it bc he will regret not but if just having a nice mustang then go with GT.
You are doubling your horsepower so more stress on drivetrain. The big name power adders are good at what they do and hammer out issues especially when that kit have been available for multiple yearsā itās on the user to ensure properly installed and no issues with the car prior to.

look at the cost for used vs new also when comparing loans. You often get much lower rates on new cars so 10k difference is only couple bucks/month difference in loan. IMO get what you want so you donāt look back and regret your purchase.
Also, magnaride is an awesome technology in equipped...
The gt350 is way more track capable. The Mach 1 is essentially a Badged magnaride vehicle with gt350 intake and donāt think those add-ons equate to the huge price difference.
I find this question a little oft-putting... He works for one of (if not the best) best Mustang tuners out there. Lund is a small company and If he wasn't competent and follow the "tuning" model they wouldn't allow him to continue. The tunes are Lund's tunes and the individual's job is to make...
thanks bankyf and JohnVallo! I did this last night before coming in for night but it just didnāt feel right. Lol. Now to get kid on and intercooler set up
Assuming car is running well so I have a question about the bypass actuator tubing.... this step says to zip tie rubber fitting to actuator but where did you zip tie? They included 4" zip ties with the line and fittings which isn't long to link around anything.
Great tips!!! Got up until removal of the intake and figured good stopping point bc wonāt be able to work on it for a few days. So far only thing that was terrible was the damn sound tube. Had 2 wobble extensions and dropped the sockets prolly 20 times trying get off
Day 1- made sure garage etc was nice and organized and got all parts laid out and started reading through directions while looking in engine bay to try to anticipate any questions.. Feeling confident for coffee and wrenches tomorrow am.
Sorry to bring back an old forum but how long did it take you guys to complete. Going to tackle this coming up and curious what I should look forward to
