Hi, in 2.3l there was a post about dimensions. There was a pic of what looked like a v6. It was surprisingly small. It didn't have any accessories bolted to it.

I'm wondering if anyone has physical dimensions of the different v6 engines? My engine bay isn't tall enough for the 2.3t so im hoping the 2.7 or another might be narrow and low enough to fit in my car.

I don't need a huge amount of power, (but im sure I'm going to want more eventually.) The car is 2000 lbs stock with an old iron block. I'm sure an aluminum block with a turbo will end up about the same amount of weight. I know I'll need really wide tires and a light foot to keep the back end from lighting up.

i dont know why the 2.7 and 3.0 are so hard to find a picture with dims on. i thought i found a 3.5 one but i cant find it anymore. but if you can find a good picture looking directly at the front, you can extrapolate overall 2d dimensions in cad if you have a known dimension. Usually the crank pulley is your best bet because its fully visible and easy to get a diameter for. i will do the cad work for you if you find out what the pulley diameter is for whichever engine you would like.

3.5.webp
