Engine Plenum Cover and Injector cover paint

Paint process:
Remove injector overs from car
Wash with mild soap and water
use 600 grit sand paper and lightly rough up all of the cover except the middle that is taped on figure 2
apply painters tape through middle of each cover
use sharp blade to cut the tape in line with rivets on each cover, ensure the 2 long recessed lines are not covered
make sure surface is dry before applying tape
apply Engine enamel of choice, 3 coats 10 minutes apart at 6-8 inches away light mist
allow to dry 30 min
apply 3 engine enamel clear coats 10 min apart, I used ultra high temp paint
allow 3 hours to dry
remove painters tape
reinstall cover to car

Only difference in the Painting process is the taping. Make sure to get under the top (black side) of the cover, and ensure to get all circular clips on cover to contrast. If you wanted to paint the other side (grey part) reverse parts taped after 3 hours dry, and paint color desired.
