Engine Coolant over temperature

Hello everyone I wanted some feedback on a problem I have with my 2018 mustang gt. Recently replaced my ecm and now every time I turn key the temp gauge shoots right up and it’s running in limp mode. Is there a possibility that the temperature sensor could have shorted out?

More information needed. Why was the ECM replaced? Are there any stored codes?

It’s a salvage car and it was it hit on the ecu so I replaced the ecu you and the wiring harness the one that goes on the ecu. I have 3 major codes one for the cht, throttle pedal position sensor, and camshaft sensor.

I replaced the wiring harness that goes on the engine. I believe the cht just need to be replaced but I wonder if it’s the other wiring harness that messed up.
