Emergency brake travel

I hadn't paid much attention to this, since mine is the only S550 I've ever been in. During a recent alignment service, the tech commented that the emergency brake handle seemed to have an unusual amount of travel. Here's a pic of mine fully set. What do you all think? Should I attempt to tighten it up? I haven't actually checked to see how difficult that would be to do.

Try yanking it 5 or 6 times in succession, They can auto-adjust quite a bit.
