CJPony Parts has the blacked out emblems. I don't like the chrome either but think I'll just remove them altogether.

Yeah, the 5.0 badges have two alignment holes on each one.

That sucks I was planning to debadge mine as well since I got the CO, blacked out ones might be the answer though as suggested.

If you look at the emblems on the 11-14 GTs and compare them to the 15s, it appears that the 5.0 is in a different font now.

It is. But for those of you that want a black badge or otherwise going to change the color, why not consider plasti-diping?

The old 5.0 emblems you can order work fine but they are a slightly different design. As others have said the new badges have alignment holes but you don't need to use them you'll just want to make sure they're covered by the new badges. A few forum members have done this already.

I don't have any experience with plasti-dip, but I'd want a glossy black finish to match the PP rims. Can you get that that with plasti-dip?

Sorry, I don't mean to mislead you. I don't have any experience with it either. I've just been kind of looking into it cause I like the easy color change and original restoration of it. But from what I've seen they have plasti-dip glossifiers. It appears to go on top of the colored plasti-dip. HERE

I'm probably in the minority but I wish the Plastdip fad would die.
There is now way I would spray rubber in a can on my 35-40k car.
I would rather buy the badges and put them on.

Nope they have holes for guide rods. You will have to fill and paint.
Fill and paint it is then. They look out of place on my LE.
