Emblem Delete decklid

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to fill the holes in the decklid if you popped the GT emblem out?

It's not worth it bud. I don't think it would look right. Better off just replacing the deck lid.

Well, if you wanted to do that you could pop the GT emblem off and wrap the whole decklid in black vinyl. You may still see the dimples through the vinyl since the vinyl will sort of "sink into" the holes that the emblem left behind. You could get some thicker vinyl and that may help.

Yep, black vinyl wrap or maybe plugs if you're not picky.

Has anyone had a problem with the reverse camera? After I changed the deck lid panel, the reverse camera is not working.

At first I was not going to change the panel, but the 50th year emblem broke off when I closed the trunk lid.

I like the way it looks now. Plus it is easier to clean.

Mine stopped working after my install. I freaked out thinking I'd broken an expensive piece but the connector just wasn't seated fully. Check that first.

Same thing happened to me this week. I'm debating using some gorilla glue to get it to stick or going with this delete panel. I could argue with the dealer to get it replaced but since I treat the car like a newborn baby and it still fell off I figured it would just fall off again. I do like the clean look after seeing it.
