I installed my element fire extinguisher this weekend and thought I'd share a few things. I ordered the e50 and the seat mounting bracket directly from element. It was a "universal" bracket but it didn't require modifications to work on my car. The brackets that the seat bolt goes through are not big enough to accommodate the oem seat bolts. I simply cut one of the ears off of the bracket and this gave enough clearance to use the oem seat bolt. It is also a bit long so the only way I could get it to work was not the most symmetrical. I may make my own center rail to remedy that but for now it's not my biggest concern.
