Does anyone know the size or if it is possible to replace the stock flasher relay to an electronic relay to get rid of the fault when using switchback LED's? I rather not do resistors and all I had to do is buy a relay for my truck that I did the same mod on. This possible with the new mustang?

Not sure what your referring to.... Lots of us have switchbacks and it doesn't throw any codes.

I don't use the resistors, even though I bought them. I like the "galloping" sound of my blinkers.

that "galloping" sound is the most annoying thing ever. i hate it. they call it a "galloping" sound to encourage us to "deal with it" instead of manufacturing something that works properly.

I agree. We at least need an option of a plug and play resistor. Diode dynamics told me they were working on one when I talked to them in October. Still no part available yet.

I don't think the s550's use a relay, I think it's hard-coded into the electrical system. If it used a relay, this issue would have been resolved months ago.

I agree with you, I don't like the galloping sound either...

I would agree that the galloping isn't the most desired sound. It actually annoys me more when i'm looking at my hood, 2016 here, and the sound doesn't match up with the blinking light. Would like to have the option of back to oem sound. And i'm not splicing in resistors if i can help it. I wouldn't doubt some day if i were to have an electrical issue and a dealer was being an ass that could do more harm. would love something similar to the rear sequencer type deal but for the front.

With the "galloping" sequencers, even if your Diode Dynamics light were to die out or not work properly (yes, this has happened with my set...) you'll never know.

The galloping sound is specifically to let you know when something's wrong. If you "normalize" the galloping sequence, it kind of defeats its purpose..

Maybe they should come up with something to replace the entire housing to make it an all-LED turn signal, rather than try to work with just the bulb. I mean, if I'm paying $75.00 for bulbs, the housing part can't be that much more.

Diode Dynamics is releasing an LED housing soon - it's made an appearance at SEMA and it looks promising.
