Recomendations From people who have upgraded their alternator and which ones did they go with.
I am planning on installing a 55 gpm electric water pump. With all of my upgrades which require more current draw. I am going to upgrade my alternator to maybe a 250-275 amp. I will first do a live current draw on my electrical system to see what total draw is, with everything electrical turned on. .

I don't see a benefit. The larger alternator IMO will negate any horsepower gains with the electric water pump. IF that's what yer after.

Yes, JL Sub, (20amps) KPM 1500hp with PWM controller dual Bosch 540 pumps??, FI Interchiller CWA400 IC pump (19 amps), And the interchiller condenser fan 6.5 amps. My PP1 Alternater is 200amps, my oem pp1 fans come on 100% at 150f, havent checked yet. I will do a Total current test this week end.
