I'm planning on having a cutout installed after the resonator on my EB (along with a few other tweaks.)

From my reading, it seems that the company with the best reputation for electric cutouts is DMH, although Quicktime is popular as well. No matter what you get it will need to be regularly maintained.

Check the laws in your state - they all vary on cutout requirements.

I don't think there will be a significant power change, but the extra noise will make it feel a lot faster.

I have had a QTP and DMH on my car before this one. The QTP motor failed in less than a year (in winter no less) so I had to replace it, went with DMH. I felt the DMH performed better as it sounded like there was less leakage (used a rubber seal rather than metal to metal) and it opened and closed faster. DMH's customer service was really poor at that time (3-4 years ago tho). Their cutouts are popular but it seemed like there was only one guy really running the show, and he was just swamped with orders and requests. I had to make an actual phone call to him directly to get my cutout in the mail.

I'd recommend DMH if you don't mind waiting, and hopefully don't have reliability issues. Maybe they have more staff there and can help out faster now.

Try to install the qtp cutout before the cat, that will give you the most performance. I had one on my EVO. The the cutout closed the most boost that I could make was 26 psi through a highflow cat. When I opened the cutout, I hit 36psi with no problem.

Don't you still want to have the cutout after your secondary 02 sensor though....?
