The rear does look harder than it used to, but I'd still do it myself.

It was easy just follow the video (I think CJPP has it).

The rear is actually really easy. Just do it yourself and save the money!

Make sure you get the proper spring compressor, makes all the difference. you need a clam style, not the 2 piece ones typically rented by autozone or pep boys.
Air tools help a lot also. took me 8 hours the first time because of air compressor and spring compressor issues, I could do it now in less than 2 1/2 hours and I'm no mechanic.

well i have a huge garage/warehouse and a bunch of airtools as well cause my dad owns a towing company so hes very mechanically inclined as he does all the repairs on his own trucks so yea guess im doing it myself or better said me and my father will be doing it together as thats what normally happens guess ur never to old for father son projects lol

I just lowered my 2016 with sportlines. No spring compressor required. Basic hand/air tools and a floor jack.
The rear is super easy. Remove wheel, 7 bolts, spring and then reassemble
The front requires a little more time, still pretty easy. Remove wheel, brake caliper and rotor, 6 bolts, decompress spring on the car with floor jack under a-arm and then reassemble.
Car will be low in the front so make sure you set some 2x4's under front wheels or you may not be able to get your floor jack out.

I'd do it yourself since you've done springs before. The front is almost the same as 13-14 except you have to completely remove the brakes and rotors to get to the boots buts that's easy enough to do. The rears are harder but not difficult just drop the subframe and shocks and then pull out the spring. Put the new one in. Id also put in the subframe bushings and alignment kit since you're pulling everything apart. It really firmed up that rear end. Since you're not paying labor you still come out ahead.

You don't really NEED anything but the springs. Other parts are just going to compliment the springs and ride. But to install the bushings and sub frame alignment you need to drop the subframe. Anytime you drop the subframe you should get an alignment. Makes sense to do it all at once.

But to clarify you just need springs to drop the car. I've got a similar setup but my offset is 45 but I've got 20mm spacers so essentially a 25 offset on steeda progressives.
