Hey guys,

Just got my Eibach Pro kit installed after owning the car for about 2 months and 600 miles. I wanted to wait for coilovers but with my new wheels coming next month I had to fix the gap. The wheel gap was driving me nuts and the PP springs were just miserable to drive on. I felt like a bobble head driving around on the free way. The ride height on the Pro Kit is just perfect and the drop is subtle but noticeable. Most importantly the bouncey-ness is completely gone. The car feels stiffer, and every bump on the road is met with one solid down up motion, no more mr bobble head.

Other than the noise, I love the springs. They are leaps and bounds better than the PP springs, and I recommend any one with the PP springs change them out immediately!

Noise: (Discovered to be the dust shield touching the brakes)

make sure the strut nuts are tight under the hood and see if that resolves that creaking your hearing.

it could be your brembos as well...they are noisy and every ones squeaks and makes noise at some point. especially at slow speed. I've been told it's a brembo thing and some floating pin inside the brakes moves in anticipation of braking or something and it will cause screeching and noise. I dunno someone else could better explain it but definitely check the strut nuts under the hood. If they're not tight l ike that that strut should be it will move and clank up in the fender.

This is slightly out of left field for you mustang guys, but the springs Eibach made for my kia optima had a similar sound issue that was caused by a faulty casting on Eibachs side, they eventually released an updated spring that corrected the issue. It had to do with the way the spring fit on the perch.

I'll try and get a video of the sound for you guys, hopefully we're all talking about the same noise and I can bring it to the attention of eibach

So here it is,

[ame]

Seems like it got worse today. Keep in mind this is at Slow slow speeds, the brakes were not applied at all, most of it was rolling in neutral and letting off the clutch slowly.

While driving at speeds it sounds like a circular saw from a mile away. Really strange, will be bringing it back to get it checked out. Not sure if other eibach owners are having this issue, or maybe its caused by something entirely different.

damn all I hear is the squeaking that shouldn't be there?? Sounds like something is rubbing the brake rotor.. like the dust cover/plate got bent or something?

I surely hope the springs are not made from anything cast.

that's the brembos. everybody's does it under slow speed and turning with no brakes... .it's that floating pin thing i was talking about. although mine isn't that loud but it could be louder because the video is in a parking garage. whatever it is it has to do with the brakes/rotors and not springs/struts

Ditto on this. I'm wondering if the dust shield behind the rotor got bumped into during the install and is touching the rotor. It sounds exactly like that. Jack the car up and spin the front wheel, see if it makes the noise. Then take the wheel off and check the dust shield.

usually people who have bedded the pads in won't hear it as much. the hotter it is outside the less it happens for me too. i had it at the dealer for the TSB they had but it was actually for NON pp gt cars with brake squeals...they said they've been dealing with same issue with brembos making even on the gt500s. even race cars with performance brakes will squeal the same way.'

there's been plenty of people on forums to report the same thing about the brembos making noise.

No sounds like that coming from my pro kit. Definitely a brake noise not springs.

This is just something to check, but I had the same springs installed and after I heard a noise kinda similar on slow downs. And I took it back to the shop and the drive shaft was Bartley touching one of of my exhaust pipes. Just something too check.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Turns out the dust shield got nicked during install and was touching the brake rotor. I'll leave the video up just for future reference if anyone else experiences this
