Anybody on Eibach pro kit springs? Have you had them on your s550 for more then 6 months to year? hows the ride? Can you feel then diference in how the car corners and accelerates? Any issues? I really want these springs. i think the drop is just right, especially after looking at old pics of brian@vossen S550. But i read one bad review on CJ pony parts about the noise. ("slowly started making creaking sounds from the rear, then the front, then springing sounds started (all of this while moving slowly). Then it got worse and now every time I turn the wheel while moving I hear a bumping/creaking and a springing sound"). Should i look at another brand? thanks

please read my complete suspension review thread and i suggest a linear rated springs if your serious about performance. if you want to go low and just cruise and not push the car hard then go for the eibachs but be prepared for bounce, squeaks and bumpsteer

also it isnt the spring brand every progressive spring on the market is getting complaints of noises but you wont find any on a linear set so that should tell you something.

I have had eibachs for +6 months and I can assure you there is no squeaking, or noise for that matter. Driving on rough roads is also pretty similar to stock springs. I recommend them.

I've been on Eibach Sportlines, which are also progressive springs, for 6+ months and there is absolutely no noise whatsoever. Perhaps some people haven't installed their springs correctly, which may be possible regarding the Steeda springs if you read some of the comments regarding the installation instructions. Some people on here will prefer linear, some will prefer progressive-it is all opinion. I was a little hesitant to go with progressive springs at first, but after intalling the Sportlines, I have no regrets. I have tracked my car with the Sportlines (I also have BMR sway bars), and the handling was great and VERY predictable. The car can easily generate over 1g cornering. For reference, the Ford Racing handling pack comes with progressive springs. Good luck with whatever you choose!
