Edelbrock 2.65 vs. Kenne Bell 2.8LC

Hello everyone,

in this march i want to upgrade my car with an supercharger.

I would prefer one of these two "Edelbrock 2.65 or the Kenne Bell 2.8LC"

The question is which one should i take ?

Maybe someone has experience with these two?

My opinion?

Packaging looks better. Performance wise I think the Edelbrock is more efficient and it seems they both have about the same ceiling potential in initial testing on the Edelbrock.

I like the edelbrock kit better but the stage 1 dyno numbers are kind of sad. If they got that worked out, I would rank it close to whipple.

There are two stages for that blower offered and neither one really push that blower at all.

My tuning company, offer for the Edelbrock a map with 700 whp and one with 800 whp.

Check out the Forced Induction section of the forums, there's lots of good info there. Edelbrock is in the process or releasing a new head unit with a modular inlet capable of accepting different throttle bodies, which means more power will come easier. Closer to what you see Whipples throwing down.
IMO, Edelbrock looks much cleaner installed versus the KB unit. I'll be buying an Edelbrock kit once its out for the '15-'17 cars. I have no experience with the KB unit, but the Edelbrock has a nice torque curve if I do say so myself

Def go with the Edelbrock's, it has a larger intercooler so you will see lower IATs and the 2,6 TVS will make more torque than the Kenne Bell and Whipple rotor packs

I’d choose the KB. Just not a fan of the way the eldebrock looks. It does perform tho

I do love the look of the Polished KB's...but that mess of hoses in the front is a bit gnarly. As a disclaimer, I worked for an automotive company that was a new distributor for them. Took a week or two of phoning to get them on the phone to confirm a price list. Once I did, they were very helpful and pleasant.

It's a toss up.

Customer Service/Price/Power/Looks

I'd base my decision around ability to get parts quickly and easily in Germany and which local vendors you have.
