Hi, I have purchased a coyote crate engine for my 68Coupe.trying to find the pinout for the speedometer on the ECU to plug in to my Dakota digital speedometer. If anyone has been through this process I would appreciate it. The ECU part number is—
A6SZU24524000.
cheers Paul

Hey Paul,

Are you also a Member over on VMF (I’m over there as well)?

Which Coyote Crate did you purchase - there’s several different packages available through Ford Performance based on model years. Each will have a different ECU and should come with the complete instructions that outlines the connector types from the included control package.

Did yours come with the document? It should be like a 20-30 page manual.

This link will show some pin out info for the 11-14 model years and 15+ model years - but I’m not sure how into the “future” it will help with your quest (not knowing which FP Crate you purchased) - probably only good up to the 17’s as the info was older when it was put online:

If you need 2018+, I’m sure someone can get that info too.

Hi Cobra Jet, I have the instruction sheet doesn’t show me any information about the ECU. The model of the crate engine is:: M-6017-M50A/504V5.0L. Already have contacted the Ford Company, still no reply might have to get a auto elect and check out each pin individually from the ECU.
cheers Paul

Please post more pictures of the car. It looks like you're building a master piece.

Your crate engine is a 2015-2017 Coyote 5.0 with applicable controls pack, so you’ll need to look for the ECU info for those model years.

Check out these 2 links and see if any info there helps:
