Hi, this might be one of those things that I'm thinking about currently but then in reality never go ahead with or not do immediately but trying to find a bit of info anyway.

I'm curious about getting a tune on my Ecoboost, Iv been reccomended to Midland Remaps but I can't see any info on their website in regards to these cars. I will need to contact them for more information but a friend reckons maybe £300.

https://midlandremaps.co.uk/

The other option Iv saw is a Cobb Accessport which seems popular online, for around £500, it's a bit more money but also gives me something physical to use, extra features, more control and freedom over what maps are installed and people later move onto tune plus maps which are uploaded via that device. Iv found this on a UK website but never know if it would be better to order direct from Cobb.
Iv saw both good and bad things about the preinstalled tunes on these too but I'm not trying to push it too much anyway.

Hi @Dannyh1991, did you ever go ahead with the remap? I'm currently looking into this for my ecoboost as well!

Hey, I haven't done any tuning to the car (not yet at least :cwl:). I have done all the supporting mods such as intercooler, exhaust, k&m panel filter. So it's only really the tune that would be needed now tbf

I saw your reply in the IC forum, I find it to be pretty good although it has been winter so not the best time of year for needing cooler inlet temps lol.

Most recently before Christmas I started looking at Purple Drank via a HP tuning device as it's a little cheaper than the Cobb. But not sure I'll get around to it anytime soon now.

Thanks for getting back to me! Mine has only got a cat-back exhaust atm which was installed in December. I'm still researching before going ahead with the rest of the mods! I've been recommended MAP in Leeds by many people as they do lots of work on all kinds of Mustangs - https://www.motorsportandperformance.com/

You should join the Simply Mustangs UK (SMUK) group on Facebook, there are a few interesting ecoboosts there as well :like:
