Hello, does anyone know the limitations of the stock head in the ecoboost? Was thinking about doing a built shortblock with stock heads and was wondering how much power the stock heads are safe with?

I would like to know who is out there that has had good results after porting the heads of the Ecoboost four.

I've seen 500 HP on a stock head. At some point, you start making the turbo work harder than it needs to, and that's where the porting really comes into play. I'd guess if you're over ~550HP, then porting starts to become important. It's not really necessary for most bolt-on builds or anything with a stock block, for that matter.
