Just a question....i currently have about 3700 miles on my 2018 GT.
I get about 14-15 mpg city and about 26 mpg hwy....

Should I expect more after 10k miles or something?

True. When I first got it I was getting only like 10 mpg city but now its runs around 14-15...which is not that far off from my 2015 v6.

17.7 city and 30 highway for me (200 mile trip). Should get better as the miles pile on. Mods in sig. Around 470 horse at the engine.

Maybe just lay off the throttle a little around town if you care. Even enjoying the sound of my car I can muster 18-19 in town. Same as you on highway, possibly a little less. 24-26 depending on speed and aggression to left lane slow pokes.

One other thing to consider is the fuel mixtures will be changing for the upcoming warmer seasons in the “winter” States; usually when that happens I see better mpg by at least 1-1.5mpg.
That's funny, here in California, they add more ethanol to the summer gas and mileage goes down 5% or so, in the name of clean air.

You and a few others are either stupid, simple, or slow.

Stop bringing your GT into every post. No one cares.

Please for the purposes of the thread just ecoboost numbers no gt's.

When I had an ecoboost, I averaged 18.5mpg. For reference sake, I average about 14 in my GT. Whenever I have driven ANY car, I will typically average one less than city, and that is driving very briskly if you can imagine, absolutely no hypermiling. Both stick, EB was PP/Prem

Point is an Ecoboost will get about 4-5mpg more than a GT, and unless you are crawling in the right lane any GT owner will be getting teens. You can def crack well into 20's in an EB. Add even more mpg for the A10.

I am not taking any jabs here because I loved the EB I had, but I would never go back, worse gas and all (and thats not to say I wish for better gas mileage). I mention this because you are coming from a Hellcat lol I hope youve driven one or have tempered your expectations on top end thrust and especially noise (if you are partial to muscle car rumble). That all being said, it felt much lighter on its feet and it was a tight-driving car with the PP bits. An absolute blast to corner with and got around briskly. High praise for that car, and no one gave a F it wasn't a GT.

Stock, you will not be able to shake an accord V6 though, unless well into triple digits where they max out or doing a lot of cornering, both very reckless in public roads. Just FYI. Thats what the Hellcat will be for, right?

Haha, I'm not disillusioned to what the ecoboost is. I know it won't sound good, trust me I won't put a new exhaust on it lol. This is purely a dd purchase if I make it. Im not looking for the fastest car, just one at a reasonable price that will make a commute fun and be economical. Hondas to me are not fun, to me those are for people that don't give a crap about cars. They certainly serve a purpose but imports are not really for me.

Not the question you asked, but consider buying a used GT and the money you save on the car will offset the small amount of $$ the extra gas will cost.

Please do the math on what you will actually save before buying a car. 2 cents.

Seth, you are, in fact, an idiot. The original post was the one I quoted where he asked for Ecoboost numbers and no GT numbers. He even said please and you still posted GT numbers... You didn't have to read every post, you just had to read the most important post in the whole thread... The reason why the thread was even started.

Honestly, it amazes me people on here have such good jobs with the level of attention or education you see. Holy crap.
