JMS has 2 different modules. So you have to make sure you don't get confused about which each module does. The Pedalmax is simply a throttle pedal signal modifier. It essentially tells the PSM you are at about 3/8 throttle when the pedal is only at about 1/4. Once you are at 3/4 pedal position it really is now about full throttle. For daily driving it really is a nice enhancement. At any given throttle position you have more HP then before. But of course no more HP at full throttle though. BUT they also make a BOOSTMAX. This is a module that modifies boost signals and makes the PCM think the boost is lower then it is which then the PCM adds more boost. I had one for a little. It did make some nice gains at full throttle. Air fuel ratios seemed the same. I was nervous of it and sold it to get the pedalmax which does more for my daily driving of seldom going full throttle. So, the pedalmax is very safe where as the Boostmax is questionable. Just a heads up though. Unleashed Racing sells them and doesn't condemn them and also just saw Shelby is using them in the Ecoboost they are starting to make.
