Wanted to get the opinions and experiences of other Ecoboost owners on their best techniques for the quickest launches. I've been trying new methods on my commute to work 70-80 degree weather. When I drop it at 3K with launch control through the Cobb AP in track mode it's a dramatic event but I just feel like I'd be better off with a lower RPM or releasing the clutch more slowly, I don't know, maybe some of you have found something that works for you so myself or others with the same question.

Cheers

I can't really comment on launching the EBM with a manual.

What I can say is that you want some bias ply slicks:)

With such a quick spooling stock turbo, your best bet would be to find the RPM that allows a firm launch with the most amount of traction and get a bit of roll out before the boost really hits. On street tires it is essential, especially with how hard the boost can hit in these cars.

My best advice is for now avoid LC unless you have some tires on the car. Start down around 2300rpm and see what happens. My best suggestion is find the rpm at which the car spins, and then find the rpm at which the car bogs. Then find the middle ground.
