http://trackspe.nextmp.net/ makes vents for race cars, used on Corvettes and BMWs and now Mustangs and GT500s.

The Tiger Racing hood is not a problem in the rain. I had one on my 2010 and drove it numerous times in the rain even torrential down pours had no effect on the motor at all. The problem is it a race hood the quality of the carbon is just not street worthy and the fiberglass hood weighs nearly as much as the stock aluminum hood. The Aluminum vent added no weight and has an extraordinary amount of opening exactly where you want it between the engine and the radiator. Add that to the fact that you only need to get the vent painted not the whole hood and it is very reasonably priced.

Bumping an old thread...Ballsy indeed OP.

Been thinking about doing this when I get my mustang. Only I'd actually take it to a shop for them to do this...definitely don't trust myself. Anyone have an idea of how long this would take the average auto-body shop?
