Searched on the forum, but I couldn't find anything on this topic.

I don't have any leaks, smoke from exhaust, or smell inside the vehicle. Did my own oil change, added 5.7Quarts (motorcraft semi-synthetic blend) like the manual says. Oil on the dipstick was close to the Max, now 2K miles later the oil was in the middle. Added some more oil and called it a day.

Side Note
I never paid this much attention to my previous car, so some of these questions may sound dumb, but I want to know for peace of mind.

-Does the ecoboost consume oil?
-Should I check dipstick between oil changes frequently? (probably yes)
-Will the car alert me, if I've fallen low on oil?
- I also had to add about 4psi to each tire this morning.(Checked with my own Tire Pressure Gauge). Do summer tires lose air overtime?
-how accurate is the on dash tire psi reading?

yes you will loose oil over time, if you fill it up to the top when you do oil change check it about 2-3k miles, it will tell you if its low but that's usually way down low
when it gets cold out you loose some psi in the tires

Thank you for the reply!

-So this is normal for a ecoboost engine, to consume oil at only 5K miles, If so why is that?
-Will the oil consumption get worse with time?
-If I switch to full synthetic will that help solve the problem alittle?

so for all the questions...

Why aren't you already using full synthetic? I mean mixed is obviously cheaper but I think it's worth it for a performance car to use the good stuff

I found motorcraft semi blend at walmart for super cheap, so I said why not, but lesson learned and I totally agree with you, I'm going full synthetic next oil change (penzoil ultra 5w-30).
