The 2M headers on ebay are made in the US in Idaho. I was going to go with TSP headers until i found out they are made overseas.

For that price, they are likely buying stuff bent in china and welding/finishing it in the US. Not sure that it matters as long as they fit, but it costs a lot of money to buy all the equipment like benders to make headers in the united states.

I understand. I have seen some places buy prebent pipes from overseas and weld them up in the US. Then they are technically made in the US.

So I installed these with little effort. All the negatives about the 2m headers are now unfounded in my mind.

any chance you could measure the width of the collectors? Curious how wide they sit.

Yes 65 fastback. Been my dream car as well. Finally building one. Putting a voodoo in it and need to find some headers.

Hoping the s550 headers will clear between the rails on my 65.

Sure thing. The rail to rail is 29 1/2. From collecter to collector measured on the outside is 26 1/2. My personal width is 1 1/2 for the guys asking.

Great no cutting, extra pipes or anything slipped right in. It was a bolt on affair. Only strange thing was the extra O2 bungs. I was told these are the last chef style one's ever made and that they were missing something regarding the 02 sensors. But they adjusted the price for me and for what I paid I will live with it.

They bungs were welded on the wrong side. Looks like after it was caught they just re-drilled and welded new bungs. We had this issue on my friends car when we did the Chef style headers. No issues on my job style ones.
