Stop you crying and bitching. So what the EAA $750 is now history. Starting today, 1/6/16 Ford has their own "new" Cash Back Incentive called "Switch" which depending on what 2015 Ford Vehicle your purchasing, most 2015 (Mustangs) are included, you get an automatic $1000 Cash Discount! Looks like that those worried about what happens after 1/5 was a lot about nothing. Sure the EAA $750 plus the "Big Deal" $500 was worth a total of $1250 but here, no strings attached and its good until early Feb. Need a good deal on Car Loan? AAA has 0.99% for 36 months (auto pay) or 1.24% for Coupon Book if you`ve got a great FICA Score.

Check again. It says up to 1000.00 but on the Mustang it is only the same 500.00. They jsut changed the name of Dream Big which was a name change of the one before that. Still I am very happy they extended it. Still can't get that AND Financing from ford but there are much better financing offers out there as you have kindly pointed out.

mKenny28, Ford Credit doesn`t want to do both? Fine, AAA is only 0.99% or 1.24% on 36 months depending on Auto Pay or Coupon Book.

Yup I checked today out of curiousity. If you plug in 2015 Mustang it shows the $500 "Offer 1" or the same special financing as before "Offer 2". My dealer got me a good rate 2.29 for 60 months (with no early payoff fee) so I was happy to take the $500 rebate instead.

It doesn't look like it. When I go to Ford Credit to See if I would qualify it only shows their current rates however if I change it to my own financing it shows the 500.00 incentive. Yup I would go with the .99% from AAA if I didn't already have financing in place. I was only going to go with Ford Credit if they had offer up some better incentives to do so this time around.

I agree, I have had 3 previous Car Loans with Ford Credit and have a year and a half left on my 2013 C-Max Loan with them. If they don`t want to match 1% for 36 months, fine. I`ll take the $500 Cash Incentive instead and pass on their lower Ford Credit APR`s and go with AAA.

"Correction" I rechecked the (fine print) and mkenney28 is absolutely right. The new 1/6 Cash Back Incentives called "Switch" is (not) $1000 on 2015 Mustangs but a mere $500 replacing the previous "Dream Big" $500 promotion. Those that slid under the wire with (both) the EAA $750 plus the "Dream Big" $500 for a total of $1250 got "The Deal", to date!

FYI, for anyone interested, I opted to go with a Lightstream loan at 1.99% for 60 months vs what was getting at my Credit Union because they handle it like a personal loan. It is unsecured so no lien against the vehicle, meaning a clean title in my name right off the bat. That plus the 500.00 incentive plus no penalty for paying off early made it a no brainer for me. Now I am just dealing as if it were a cash sale.

Sounds like a great Deal from Sun Trust Bank a.k.a. Lightstream Loans. If I was going beyond 36 months, I`d go with the extra 0.76% APR. That plus its a (non-secured) Personal Loan and the Vehicle is Titled to you from day one.

Exactamundo, my friend! Plus I will pay it off in 3 years or less to minimize the interest increase. Now if our convertibles would just get here!

I`m just guessing, assuming there was no issues on the Rails, the Train must have left GA by now and be somewhere in Florida. Who knows, it might already be in Miami waiting to be unloaded and re-loaded soon unto a Truck Car Carrier. Since my Dealer reported the Unit Delivered on 1/2, it no longer shows up on COTUS, just as my Salesman told me. Guess you can`t show (visibility) on a Vehicle that supposedly already went home..

Glad I had seen this post earlier, last week emailed my sales rep about it and he said I'm covered. He said I'll just need to bring the original eaa certificate to prove I had it at time of order.

Decided at the last minute to switch from AAA which had 1.24% APR for 36 months with (Monthly Coupon Book) non-auto pay to Capital One Automobile Financial the Dealer was able to provide instantly at 1.74% APR for 36 months with a Monthly Coupon Book) too, non-auto pay. Figured, the difference was only $4. more each month and the Dealer deserved the Origination Fee kickback for getting me the $1,250 in Incentives monies (plus) the X-Plan. Got almost Private Party Retail for my Trade-In too which saved me an additional $500 in Sales Tax at 6%! My Race Race Convertible with the 051A Foundry 18 Wheels just looks fabulous! The "lack" of the Spoiler just puts it (over) the top, IMO. Four and a half months gestation period but well worth the wait.
PS: Vehicle arrived with 25.3 miles on odometer. QC had the Vehicle for a bit making sure it passed their measures of fit and finish. Hope everyones elses arrives soon too! Cheers

I know a couple people have had the dealer tell them they will get a check for the $750 instead of taking it off the price of the car. Anyone know how long it takes to receive the check. We took delivery 23 December and still waiting. Dealer says they are going to send it as soon as they receive it from Ford...
